Cooley Gravel Company has complied with all stipulations of the above-referenced Board
Order and has submitted all required documentation in a timely manner. Furthermore, Mr.
Allen Sorenson stated in his comments of November 9, 1993 to Mr. York-Feim, "...the
amendment application presents a good program for assuring that the quarry pit walls will be
stable for reclamation."
With this in mind, Cooley Gravel Company is respectfully requesting that the Board
reconsider the civil penalty of $21,800.00 imposed on 3uly 21, 1993 and paid on August 19,
1993. We request that the Board suspend the penalty amount as we have complied with all
stipulations. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Respectfully submitted,
~~~~
E. W.
