05-01-2003 08~14PM FROM
,i~
Tim Stark or Sandy Brown
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division ofMi~erals and Geology
7313 Sherman St. Room 5
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Stark or Ms. Brown:
TO
Terra DeFellippie Gallagher
400 Cliffside Dr.
Danville, CA 94526
925 878-5161 cell
925 837-1632 work
May 1, 2003
My sister, Linda Saunders, has been representing my interests in the reclamation of our mine property in
Florence Colorado. I will be in Colorado for her daughter's graduation and am requesting a meeting be held on
Tuesday, May 27t°. If that date is possible, there is also the possibility of one of Irene Coulter's sons being
there also.
1 have not received my report from your office yet but believe thaz these are some of the issues that are still
unresolved are:
We haue not received copies of the testing results of each well for water quality and the pond water
quality. .. ,
We would also like a copy of the receipts of where and when the contaminated soils/debmis was taken.
We would like a report of the cesspool cleanup.
Also ~e need information of the mediation of subsidence areas that were bmugM to Tim's attention
recently.
If I understand correctly, the final reseeding was originally scheduled to happen last fall and it has not
been plamed yet. Therefore the timetable for final reseeding of tailing pile is important. We are not sure
how the bond can be released before the planting is even done and there is no way to evaluate if it has
been semccessful.
It is also possible that once we have all read the report, we might have further questions. I'm hoping that I can
return to California on Wednesday, May 28"' and would like to purchase my airplane ticket on Friday, May 2
so I would appreciate a reply as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Terra Gall ; • i.
FAXED to 30?i 832-8106 on May 1, 2003 at 9:10 PM
