BANTA, Director <br />August 22, 1988 <br />Mr. Joe Carrillo <br />Las Animas County Planning Department <br />First St b Maple Street <br />Trinidad, CO 81082 <br />Dear Mr. Carrillo: <br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />August 02, 1988, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining operations, File No. C-81-012, by Wyoming Fuel Co, 12055 W <br />2nd P1 Box 15596, Littleton, CO 80215, was deemed complete for the purposes <br />of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and <br />Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting underground coal mining <br />operations on Sections 22 and 23, Township 33 South, Range 68 West. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Vigil. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the <br />Las Animas County Courthouse, First St b Maple Street, Trinidad, CO. Written <br />comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the application <br />may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567.
