I reviewed portions pertaining to the reclamation plan, specifically timing and <br />estimated costs. I found only one need for revision, that being the estimated cost for <br />reclamation. My estimate for the site is $3,572,808.00, current liability for the site is <br />$3,230,622.00, so there is an increase of $342,186.00 (roughly ten percent). The increase is <br />mostly due to inflation, but can also be attributed to the addition of a few tasks which were not <br />in the previous estimate. They are: <br />Compaction of the stockpile material at the refuse area - $1,170.00 <br />Regrading all sediment control ditches - $4,484.00 <br />Applying topsoil to the Amoco pond - $ 55.00 <br />Sealing the 7 North Angle borehole - $4,539.00 <br />Demolition of the track scale house - $ 55.00 <br />There might be one other task that should be included in the estimate, and that is reclamation <br />of the stockwater pond at the Portal 9 area. I am not sure whether or not that pond has been <br />approved as permanent. If you could find out whether or not it is, I would appreciate it.
