Box 338
Cotopaxi, CO 81223
Dear Mr. Klco:
Enclosed herein is the new Permit for Fremont County's Quagmire Pit, located in Sec. 2, T. 49 N.,
R. 11 E., NMPM. The Permit number is COC-66098, and the permitted quantity is 20,000 tons. It
began on the date of my signature, March 12, 2002, and will expire on January 5, 2007.
As of the date of this letter, I am terrr:inatirg the previous permit, COC-65411, because of
inconsistencies in the description of the Permit, as described in my letter of February 12, 2002. You
will note that the dates of start-up of the new Permit and termination of the old Permit overlap, so
there is no loss of title to your right of removal of material from the pit.
Sincerely,
G~~
Roy Masinto
Fie d Manager
Royal Gorge Field Office
1 Enclosure
1 -Free Use Application and Permit COC-66098
