<br />seam in the upper Sylvester Gulch drainage, MCC's mine plans have been further reSned. Two <br />geotechnical studio were completed to determine the necessary dimensions of the panels, palars <br />and barrier to be developed in the Box Canyon lean tract. Also, based on pillar problems <br />(unraveling along the coal cleat) in a nearby mine's main entries, MCC refined its mine plan to <br />reorient the Box Canyon panels to a more favorable eagle to the cleat. Virrth these refinements to <br />the mine plea in this area, came the realization that the necessary ventlation could not be <br />provided by only one shag Two ventilation shafts are needed; one shaft for return (exhaust air) <br />sad one shaft for intake (fresh air) ventilation. DdIl hole EE-twin will be accessed along the same <br />route as drill bole EE and wal be located approximately 400 feet beyond site EE.
