A Permit Revision is being <br />submitted to effect compliance under the Surface Mining Control and <br />Reclamation Act and the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. <br />Please find attached, a Permit Revision to increase the mining area in <br />the Bear No. 3 Mine. <br />Both the Office of Surface Mining ("OSM") and the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division ("Division") have significant familiarity with <br />the Bear Coal Company's operations.
