RECLAMATION COSTS <br />1. Gold Operation <br />EI~~IT L <br />Most of the gold mine disturbance will be reclaimed as mining continues and reclaims behind the <br />advancing cuts. The plan allows for one cut in some stage of stripping, another in the stage of <br />extracting gravel to send to the gold plant and another in some stage of reclamation. Also a portion of <br />the azea azound the plant will need to be reclaimed at the end of the mine life. The worst case <br />reclamation scenario occurs at the end of mining. At the end of gold mining, one cut will need to be <br />completely filled with material stockpiled adjacent to the cut This will require the movement of <br />40,000 cy of fill material on a short push from a dozer The remaining cuts and area surrounding the <br />plant will require topsoil replacement and seeding. The approximate area of topsoiling and <br />revegetation is 20 acres. All buildings from the gold operation will be removecl; however, power <br />poles and some roads will remain, as shown on Map F.
