The pit will be lined with a Geosynthetie Clay Liner and a 40 mil Linear Low
Density Polyethylene geomembrane. A protective layer of screened soil will be placed over the
geomembrane to protect the liner during placement of the solids. No solids will be placed above the cut
and lined elevation of the cell. The cell will be covered with a cement cap. When cap is cured a
minimum of 3 feet of soil from the excavation will be placed over the cement cap and top soil currently
stock piled from the original construction of the pad will be redistributed. Piping and electrical systems
associated with the operation of the ponds as well as the pond pump house, bird netting, fencing and
the pond liners will be removed and disposed of off site. The ponds will be back filled and contoured to
original topography. All sites would be stabilized using suitable techniques (e.g., mulching or annual
vegetation) to prevent erosion until perennial vegetation has become established and reclamation is
complete.
Attached is well field map showing location of ponds, wells, roads and proposed sites for storage cells
and a copy of solids analysis.
Delivering a Crystal Clear Advantage
www.americansoda.com
