<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />Somerset Mining Company, P.O. Box 535, Somerset, CO, has submitted an
<br />application for a Technical Revision, to the Division of Minerals and
<br />Geology, for its Somerset and Sanborn Creek Mines, mining permit No. C-
<br />81-022. The proposed revision will provide for the construction of an
<br />additional air intake for the Sanborn Creek Mine. The mine site is
<br />located north of the town of Somerset, CO. The North Fork of the
<br />Gunnison River is located south of the town of Somerset. The mine permit
<br />areas are located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie and
<br />Somerset Quadrangle maps.
<br />The Somerset Coal Mine permit area is located in portions of the
<br />following described lands.
