and demonstrations for alternative sediment control and clean water ditch scenarios. Exhibit
2.05-E3, Drainage and Sediment Control Plan, Section 6 contains information regarding mudpit
hydrology demonstrations.
Bonding/ Reclamation Cost Estimate Considerations
The anticipated additional light use road disturbance for access to the sites is 7,400' by 10 - 16
feet wide (12' avg.) or a total of 2.0 acres of additional disturbance. The two pads will be
approximately 80 feet wide and 130 feet long or 0.24 acre each. Total pad disturbance will be
approximately 0.48 acres. Total additional disturbance acreage is 2.48 acres and borehole
footage is estimated to be 3,400'.
As in the past, we are requesting that the Division prepaze a cost estimate to complete the total of
2.48 acres of reclamation activities. We would like to stress that the boreholes will have the 9
5/8" casing cemented in place and there will be no reason to mobilized drilling equipment to
ream out the borehole. Consideration for down hole reclamation should only include plugging
the casing and sealing with cement using a standard redi-mix concrete truck.
Attached please find a proposed public notice which will be published in the Delta County
Independent upon notification by the Division that this application is complete. Please contact
me at 970-929-5806 if I can provide any additional information or if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~ ~ ~'~^
ames A.
