This TR provides for 1) the relocation of one gob vent
borehole site and 2) the addition of two (2) gob vent boreholes to the mine plan, all located on
USFS managed lands.
Gob Vent Boreholes
Two additional gob vent boreholes (GVB-LW9-O1B and GVB-LW9-02) will be necessary to
vent accumulations of methane gas from Pane19 gob areas located on USFS lands. To avoid
delays in approval of GVB's on other lands, these two sites have not been included with current
gob vent borehole approvals (TR-56 for example). Oxbow has been working these two sites
through the USFS approval process first prior to submittal to CDRMS.
One gob vent borehole pad will need to be re-located to facilitate the drilling of two angle
boreholes (GVB-LW10-Ol and GVB-LW10-02).
The sites are shown on the attached Drawing 2.05-MI, Sheet 6 of 6, "General Facilities, Gob
Yent Boreholes." In addition, we aze submitting revised PAP pages 2.05-SOa, Exhibit 2.04-E3,
Item 9 -Methane Drainage Well Information.
OMLLC has previously permitted gob vent borehole programs (TR 46, 48, 53, 54 and 56). The
subject of this TR is consistent with the previous submittals.
• Page 1
