Cattany <br />Division Director <br />/ / Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Sunnyside Mine, Permit No. M-1977-378,, Acreage Reduction Approval,, Revision No. AR-'~ <br />2 <br />Dear Mr. Perino: <br />On November 24, 2003, the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology approved your request for <br />release of a portion of the permit area from further reclamation responsibility. <br />The permit area was reduced to 159.9 acres, through the release of 76.31 acres in this permit action. <br />Because the permit is not totally released, you are still liable for filing annual reports and fees. <br />In addition, Division decreased the financial warranty required for the site from $1,250,000.00 to <br />$500,000.00. This is a reduction of $750,000.00. Please provide a rider to the current Financial <br />Warranty, or submit a new Financial Warranty reflecting this reduction.
