We have received your application, proof of publication, and copies of written notices concerning bond
release at the North Thompson Creek Mine. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items
required by Rule 3.03.2(1) regazding bond release applications and contents, have been submitted. Thus,
your application has been deemed complete for the purposes of filing on August 13, 2001. All review and
comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this
date of filing.
In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, you are hereby notified that the Division will be conducting an
inspection of the North Thompson Creek Mine on September 11, 2001, at 8:00 a.m. The purpose of
the inspection will be to evaluate reclamation at the site. If you wish to attend the inspection, please
contact me for specific details. The Division will issue a proposed decision on the release application
within 60 days of the inspection.
