The drilling method has been changed
from raise boring to downhole drilling due to the un-availability of suitable raise boring
equipment and contractors within the time frame required for this project. We are also
proposing to seal the shaft with excess soil material rather than cement due to the amount
of cuttings generated on the surface caused by the drilling change.
The TR-17 bond for plugging and sealing the shaft has been recalculated to reflect the use of
soil to fill the shaft. This change resulted in a bond reduction of S18,228.
If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact me at your
convenience.
Best regards,
G,. ~~l~
Ashley House
Environmental Specialist
attachments
cc: BLM (2)
OSM (2)
-~'- ~ -
