The
Larimer County Planning Division appreciates that you have done this; all we need from
you at this point is a current site plan map of your quarry showing the following
information.
• a surveyed, legal description of the property boundaries of the quarry
• approved mining boundaries
• rubble and spoil areas
A map clearly showing the quarry's property boundaries will make it easier fur both you
and the Planning Division to respond to any questions that may be lodged in the future by
residential neighbors of the quarry. I know that Claudia Delude in the County's
Building Services Department requested similar documentation in a letter dated May 24,
2000 but that she later retracted her request when she turned over the review of your
Special Review to the Planning Division. This current request is coming exclusively
from the Planning Division.
If your maps contain significant discrepancies from either the county's original Special
Review Agreement, or from maps that the State may have, it will be prudent for you to
make an appointment to talk with Planning Division Staff about amending your Special
Review so that the county and [he state both understand the location and size of the
quarry property. Please respond by August 13, 2000, and if you have any questions in
the meantime, please contact me.
Sincere) ,
~~ r~
Sarah Fltck, Planner II; 970-498-7583
cc: Christina L.
