As long as there are no <br />water rights issues involved, the County can amend the <br />permit under Rule 1.9 (Technical Revision). Your <br />Technical Revision (TR) request must address your mining <br />plan, reclamation plan and the post-mining land use. <br />d) No Mine I.D. sign. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION and comments the same as Paragraph lc. <br />e) No Performance Warranty on file. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION and comments the same as Paragraph ld. <br />f) Topsoil stockpiles not vegetated. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION - seed the topsoil stockpiles with one <br />or more of the grass species in the approved permit if <br />the stockpiles are not going to be disturbed for more <br />than one growing season. Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32- <br />116(7)(f) of the Act and Rule 3.1.9 of the Mineral Rules <br />and Regulations, a vegetative cover (or other means) is <br />required to protect topsoil from wind and water erosion. <br />If the operator feels there are "other means" that can <br />be employed to protect the topsoil stockpiles, please <br />submit your plan to utilize "other means". <br />g) Small pile of asphalt waste in the permit area. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION - remove and properly dispose of the <br />asphalt waste. <br />
