Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on May 24, 1996, an application to <br />revise coal mining operations at the Eagle No. 5 and 9 Mines was considered complete for the <br />purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Cyprus Empire Corporation. All review and <br />cortunent periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The technical revision addresses issues raised by the Division during its midterm review of the permit. <br />The coal mining operation is on land located approximately seven miles south of Craig, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Township 5 North.
