MANAGEMENT <br />The DMG's letter dated May 4, 2000 transmitted its adequacy comments regarding the <br />referenced technical revision. Following are Bowie Resources Limited's responses to <br />the DMG's comments and concerns: <br />A third ditch notation D-GVB-3 was added to Map No. 36. Enclosed are revised <br />Map No. 36 and pages ExhB -29i and ExhB-80i. <br />2. The particle size distribution for the silt fence SEDCAD design in TR-15 utilized <br />soil type 2 - Absarokee-Work Loams. The soil type used for the Freeman Gulch <br />vent shaft SEDCAD design was soil type 38 Fughes Loam. <br />3. The DMG requested a commitment from BRL to perform interim sediment <br />control procedures such as temporary seeding. The second paragraph on page <br />2.05-49 states that topsoil stockpiles, cut slopes and other disturbed surfaces <br />associated with the mine construction will be revegetated during the first <br />available planting season typically September 1st to November 15'h. BRL will <br />seed disturbance associated with gob vent boreholes in accordance with this <br />commitment. <br />The following note was added to Map 36: Construct a berm around topsoil <br />stockpiles to contain run-off. Cut a notch at the low point in the berm where a <br />straw bale(s) will be placed to filter run-off and contain topsoil. <br />4-7 No responses required. <br />
