EXHIBIT D
(a) In the initial phase of mining we stripped and stockpiled the top soil in the designated
area as shown on the EXHIBIT D map. We then extracted the gravel from the working
area. When we had cut the working area down to the designated final grade as shown in
the initial survey of the previous Limited Impact operation, we then moved to the next
area, stripped the top soil and reclaimed the first area. We have since reclaimed 5 azeas
and are working in the 6~' azea. We are planning on continuing in the same manner as
described above working and reclaiming azea's A thru J as shown on the EXHIBIT D
map.
(b) Earthmoving will be accomplished mostly with a front end loader, with occasional
work being done with a dozer or a road grader. Gravel will be hauled to the city of
Cripple Creek in dump trucks.
(c) There aze no water diversions and only one small retention pond for occasional rain
fall which is dry most of the time.
(d) The maximum area to be worked at any one time is estimated to be about 5 acres.
(e) (i) Each phase of the mining and restoration is estimated to take between 2 and 4
yeazs.
(ii) Each phase of the operation is estimated to be approximately I to 2 acres for
mining and 1 to 2 acres for reclamation.
(iii) The sequence of operations will be approximately as shown in the included
EXHIBIT D map with sections A thru J being mined in that order.
(f) (i) See EXHIBIT D map showing existing and proposed contour elevations. The only
overburden is 6" to 1' of top soil which will be used for reclamation of the previous
phase. The material to be mined is decomposed granite at and estimated maximum depth
of 15' to 20'.
(g) The Material to be mined is decomposed granite which will be used by the city of
Cripple Creek for road building and pipe bedding.
(h) there aze no expected incidental products to be mined.
