<br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION
<br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision
<br />to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the
<br />Somerset Mine, Permit No. C-81-022, operated by Somerset Mining Company, under
<br />the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979.
<br />The proposed technical revision CTR - O10) was submitted by Somerset Mining
<br />Company, on September 03, 1992 for the Somerset Mine. The mine permit areas
<br />are located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie and Somerset
<br />Quadrangle maps. The Somerset Coai Mine permit area is located in Delta and
<br />Gunnison Counties in portions of the following described lands.

<br />reorganization.
<br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the
<br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room
<br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may
<br />be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed
<br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten
<br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the
<br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision.
