LOPE: As was mentioned, I'm Mark Loye. <br />As caas mentioned, the consideration for the <br />Board is a ;possible civil penalty for the violation of mining <br />without a permit. I think I ought to give a little background <br />on this and summarize for the Board. <br />This is an approximate 30-acre sand and <br />gravel operation near Leadville, in Lake County. Webster was <br />found in violation for this pit and given a Cease and Desist <br />Order on January 28, 1981. Removal from stockpiles was <br />permitted under the Cease and Desist Order.
