<br />2. MDI must commit to processing the existing ore stockpile as soon as <br />possible, following the adequate detoxification of the cyanide contaminated heap <br />leach material. If the weather conditions allow, the stockpile should be <br />processed during the 1996 field season. <br />MDI understands and will accept this commitment. <br />Exhibit D <br />1. MDI has committed to conduct immediate cleanup of any spills that may occur <br />on the equipment supply storage bench and rip the area before seeding, rather <br />than salvage topsoil from the area and stockpile it for replacement in the future. <br />This plan is acceptable if MDI commits to placing 6-8 inches of additional topsoil <br />on the area after ripping is complete. <br />MDI will commit to placing 6-8 inches of topsoil, from the topsoil stockpile that already <br />exists onsite. <br />This concludes MDI's response to the Divisions third adequacy review.
