Following <br />are Somerset's responses to the comments: <br />1. The stability of the gob pile was reviewed using a computer- <br />assisted limit equilibrium method of slices. The stability <br />analysis produced a factor of safety for the gob pile of 1.6. <br />The stability analysis is presented on new page 2.05-19iii and <br />new map 5-084. <br />2. The increase in the bond liability associated with the larger <br />gob pile, (regrading, cover, and vegetation, is currently <br />being addressed in technical revision no. 13. <br />3. No response required. <br />4.
