<br />TECHNICAL REVISION 31 <br />On March 1, 1995, the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology (the Division) approved minor revision 27, rhich <br />alloyed Coors Energy Company (CEC) to dispose of test burn <br />ash at the Keenesburg Strip Mine (C-81-028). Since that <br />time, CEC has evaluated the econowic end logistic <br />feasibility of stitching it's coal supply from Colovyo Coal <br />Company to Addington Resources (Bowie #2) and has determined <br />that changing to the Boris #2 coal is in CEC best interest. <br />Accordingly, CEC tiehes to dispose of this ash in the <br />approved wanner at the Keenesburg Mine, in both •A• and •B• <br />Pita (Celle) rhich are presently used for ash disposal. A <br />grab ash sample tae taken from the Coors' Porer Plant, from <br />both the fly ash and bottom ash bins. The samples rare <br />analyzed by using the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching <br />Procedure. The ash tae also analyzed for radioactivity by <br />request from the Colorado Department of Health (CDH). Copies <br />of the analyses are included in the folloring pages. <br />CEC is submitting this Technical Revision to comply rith the <br />Mining Permit - Stipulation No. 24 and No. 2 of the <br />Development Standards, Amended USR-386:86:58 <br />TR-31 %~"'= <br />
