Carla Lenkey
RE: Upset Condition at Discharge Point 006, Permit No. CO-0000221
Dear Ms. Lenkey,
Attached is the lab report for the sample collected on October 30.
The flow rate at time of collection was 69.3 gallons per minute.
This sample was collected near the end of the dewatering event and
therefore represents the worst quality water. A sample collected
from this pond on October 7 had a total suspended solids value of
less than 5 mg/1, which would represent the quality of the majority
of the water released. Please feel free to call me at 970-276-5109
if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~- ~S"~~
Dennis Jones
Hydrologist I
cc: Gary Wendt (PWCC)
,/Erica Crosby (CDMG)
Seneca Coal Company • P.O.
