Long,
Drvis~on Director
The Division has received your application for Phase 2 bond release at the Meeker Area Mines.
During a preliminary completeness review, a number of inadequacies were noted. Before the
application can be deemed complete, the following changes should be made:
1. The amount requested for bond release should be changed so that it does not
exceed $122,929.00. This amount is 25% of the original bond amount minus that
released for the loadout, prorated for the 68% of permitted lands for which bond
release is being sought.
$850,000,00 - $126,890.00 = $123,110.00
$723,110.00 X .68 = $491,714.80
$791,714.80 X .25 = $122,928.70
2. Letters of notification of interested parties should also include the Yellow Jacket
Water Conservanry District.
3. Previously prepared notification letters should be revised to reflect the corrected
amount of bond release requested.
4. The proposed public notice should be revised to contain all the information
required by Rule 3.03.2(b).
5. The deadline for comments, objections, etc., as listed in the public notice should
read "...within thirty (30) days of the final publication of this notice."
6. Proof of publication of the revised notice should be forwarded to the Division as
soon as possible. Within ten days of receipt of proof of publication, the Division
will determine the completeness of the bond release application. The Division
