TR-2 ~
Deaz Mr. Vigil:
On May 18, 2006 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application submitted to the
Division on Apri126, 2006, addressing the following:
Move the mine limit on the North side to conside with the permit boundary, revise the reclamation plan to include
slurry wall, and slope stability analysis and setbacks from slurry wall.
No warranty reduction is recommended at this time. Once Lafarge presents to the Division a written acceptance
letter from the State Engineer on the Slurry wall, the Division can reduce the warranty at that time. Also it is very
important for Lafarge and Al Frie to understand that any activities in the adjacent Al Frei Pit permit # M1977-
526, Worthington pit, is the full responsibility of Al Frie.
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 2 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1983-
067. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1983-067 remains in full force and effect.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
I
~~
an
Environmental Protection Specialist
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Rxlamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
