Mines, Bowie Resources L[d <br />Dear Nir Reed: <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology requests that the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service <br />enter into consultation concerning evaporative loss and water consumptive depletion, as part of <br />the Windy Gap Process. This consultation is being requested for projects associated with the <br />following proposed mining activities: <br />Bowie No. 2 Mine <br />Technical Revision No. 06 -Relocation and enlargement of sedimentation pond B. <br />Increase in evaporative loss of .0~ ac-ft/yr, from .94 ac-ft/yr to .99 <br />ac-ft/yr. <br />Technical Revision No. 07 -Change in mine plan to long~vall mining. <br />Increase in consumptive use of 182.5 ac-ft/yr, from l24 ac-ft/yr to <br />306.5 ac-ft/yr. <br />Bowie No. l Mine <br />Technical Revision No. 29 -Enlargement of West Ridge waste pile <br />Increase in evaporative loss of OS ac-ft/yr, from X1.6 ac-ft/yr to ~. I <br />ac-ft/vr. <br />Technical Revision No. 30 -Increase in production level at loadout. <br />Increase in consumptive use of 72.1 ac-ft/yr, from 30.9 ac-fdyr to <br />103 ac-tUyr. <br />.As I had discussed with you over the phone.
