EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
As stated in the original 110c application, the final reclamation plan for the Camilletti Pit
is to return areas used as cropland to cropland and areas used as grazing lands to
grazing lands. Approximately 6 inches of topsoil will be placed on the pit floor during
final reclamation in the year 2011. Topsoil and overburden will also be salvage as part
of the yearly phased east and west wall slope reclamation. Maximum reclaimed slopes
will not exceed 3:1 to ensure slope stability. The landowner currently harvests the
previously reclaimed pit slopes and adjacent cropland. These areas have been seeded
with an alfalfa mix. Connell Resources, Inc. anticipates that the final reclamation would
also include seeding with an alfalfa mix per the request from the landowner. The actual
seed mix use will be as recommended by the NRSC. Temporary seeding of the topsoil
stockpiles will be accomplished as recommended by NRSC. On September 20, 2000, a
phone conversation with Pat Davey of NRSC indicated the following recommended
seed mixes for temporary seeding and permanent reclamation:
Temporary Seeding
50% Smooth Brome 6.5 Ibs (PLS)
50% Pubescent Wheatgrass 7.0 Ibs (PLS)
Permanent Reclamation
25% Smooth Brome 3.25 Ibs (PLS)
25% Pubescent Wheatgrass 3.5 Ibs (PLS)
25% Alfalfa 2.5 Ibs (PLS)
25% Paiute Orchardgrass 1.0 Ibs (PLS)
For the past three years Connell Resources, Inc. has coordinated with Routt County
Weed Control an annual spraying program.
