applicable, as opposed to leaving the entry blank.
In its February 11, 1998 submittal, Trapper stated that "0" will be used for future
annual reports, for those entries where there is no flow. The Division considers this
issue to be resolved.
9. OSM was interested in examining the Division's review of the 1996 Annual
Hydrology Report. The Division's first adequacy review letter, dated July 15,
1997, and the Division's second adequacy review letter, dated December 9, 1997,
have been sent to OSM previously. With the submittal of this letter, unless OSM
has any concerns, the Division believes that this issue has been satisfied.
FIELD ISSUES
10. Several exceedences of holding times had been observed in some of the laboratory
analyses. The December 9, 1997 letter detailed this issue. The Division believes
that this issue has been resolved.
11. The flume below the Coyote pond and the flume in the Flume Gulch drainage
needed to be leveled. The Division believes that this issue has been resolved, as
stated in the December 9, 1997 letter.
12. Trapper was asked to come up with another method of sampling the flow from
springs and seeps, rather than by measuring the flow at a one foot wide throat
parshall flume.
Trapper set up a new sampling procedure for springs and seeps, as detailed in the
December 9, 1997 letter. The Division considers this sampling method appropriate
and that the issue has been resolved.
13. This item involved a discussion of points of compliance for water quality standards
and did not require Trapper to submit any revised material.
14. Trapper had been requested to include "dozer basins." in the permit application.
As had been explained in the December 9, 1998 letter, Trapper had submitted and
obtained Division approval of Technical Revision No. 73 for the inclusion of
"dozer basins" into the permit application. The Division believes this resolves the
concern.
