Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cottony
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (DBMS) engineering staff have reviewed the
following information:
Florida River Parkway -Improvement Plans, prepared by Goff Engineering and Surveying,
Inc., and dated December 18, 2006;
Geotechnical Engineering Slope Stability Analysis for Airport Business Park Access Roadway
Project Site, prepared by Trautner Geotech, and dated November 20, 2006;
Geotechnical Engineering Clarifications, letter report prepared by Trautner Geotech, and dated
November 29, 2006.
The road plans described and contained in these documents are acceptable to the DBMS. In fact, these
plans contain more detail and certain upgrades to the plans DBMS previously accepted. Because the
road to be constructed crosses a steep slope, and because there will be numerous on-the-ground
engineering decisions to be made during construction, the Operator must provided the DBMS with a
general schedule for road construction so that inspections of the work can be scheduled.
cc: Tony Waldron, DBMS (via email)
Cazl Mount, DBMS (via email)
rlacs filesUly Documents 4-19-06 [hmtrock dog access road approval memo.doc
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver Grand Junction Durango Active and Inactive Mines
