999
e,
STATE OF COLORADO
Roy Romer, Govei
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
FRED R. BANTA, Dlreetor
February 9, 1988
T. A. Elliott
Domtar Gypsum, Inc.
1221 Broadway, Suite 700
Oakland, CA 94612
Re: Coaldale Larry, Succession Approval, Permit No. M-77-247 Pevision
No. so-Dl
Dear T. A. Elliott:
On February 04, 1988 the Colorado Mined Land Declamation Board approved the
succession of operators from Flintkote Company to Domtar Gypsum, Inc. for this
operation. Domtar Gypsum, Inc. is now the permitted operator of the Coaldale
(,Larry, and as such, is responsible for all provisions in Permit Plo. P1-77-2a7
as well as those specified in the Minerals Pules and Regulations. Flint!cote
Company is relieved of all responsibilities concerning this operation (See
Mineral Rules and Regulations Number 1.7).
The Division would like to remind you, as the permitted operator, about a few
things we feel are important:
1. All of the application materials, as amended and supplemented, are an
integral part of your permit. They have been incorporated into the permit by
reference. We presume that you have a copy of all of these materials;
therefore, none have been enclosed with this mailing. 41e suggest that you
keep a copy of the permit and the permit application at the mining operation
as a reference for operating personnel, to help ensure compliance with the
terms of the permit.
2. Changes in the mining and reclamation operations that differ from those
described in the perrlit may require a revision to the permit. lve suggest
consulting the Mineral Rules and Regulations and/or contacting us to determine
if a revision to the permit is necessary. Rule 1.8 pertains to Amendments,
Rule 1.9 to Technical Pevisions, and Rule 1.10 r_o Conversions.
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
