ZALKIND: Approximately three acres.
MS. WINTER: Three acres, okay. So that's minor)
points. That's 3 for that.
The amount of reclamation occurring. Has
any reclamation occurred?
MR. ZALKIND: Jim McArdle could probably speak
to that.
1.1R. McARDLE: Jim McArdle, M-c A-r-d-1-e,
reclamation specialist.
The pit we inspected was Tom LeMire's,in
January. It was a pit that was active at the time.
MS. WINTER: Yes, but the question is: Not
that it is active, but has reclamation been done by the
operator?
MR. McARDLE: Well, the reclamation that ore
agreed to would be sufficient on the red sandstone sites,
north of Lyons. It would be leaving a clean area upon
completion of mining, removing any dangerous structures or
highwalls, and then just simply regratilzg and scattering of
some seed.
It's not a very severe reclamation plan.
MS. WINTER: All right. Has any of that three
acres been replanted?
MR. McARDLE: No.
EILEE~'GRP6]'TER S.a SSO Cla Tt.
