P. This proposed technical revision to Permit G1981 019 suspends testing of top- soil. Testing since the permit waz issued ~l--E~lq .,.-., indicates that testing is unnecessary. The Cglowyo Coal Mine is a surface coal mine located in MoNat County, approximate- ly 28 miles south of Craig. Coal interest is Federal, and the surface affected is Federal, state and private land. The permit area encompasses approximately 7,531.05 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply wiN all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33- 101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
