Long <br />Division D,reclor <br />The Division proposed to transfer the Sanbom Creek Mine coal mining and reclamation permit, <br />No. C-81-022 to Oxbow Mining, Inc. from Oxbow Carbon & Minerals, Inc on January 23, 1998. The <br />underground coal mine is located in Delta and Gunnison Counties, on land just north of Somerset. The <br />coal to be mined is under federal and private ownership and the surface is under federal, state and private <br />ownership. A copy of the proposed decision is enclosed. <br />In accordance with Rule 2.08.6(6), any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the <br />proposed decision may request a formal heazing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty <br />(30) days of this notice by the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />William J.
