Spe.=ifically, the <br />re=_pc~nse ordered t-he follow-up inspection to c-valual;e the proper <br />handling and disposal c,f nancc~al wa=_+,e materials on the site. I also <br />er,plained OSM'o pc,li,_y to address ~:;ther n_.n-compliance situations <br />noted d~_rring the inspection including the lead enforcement role held <br />by Mr. Savage- .'f MLFD. We also; disc=us5!'u' safety _.-~n~.erns and tfrc- <br />par-ti~=ipar~ts respc~r~sibility tc. rriy supervi=_.i~~n during tFre inspection. <br />F'r'iar t-o cnter'ing the minesite, Mr. M~_k:ennis c-?:pr-essed cc~n,_ern <br />about t!-.e water inta4::e line l~~cated at the mine entrance. This iir~e <br />a_cesses the Colorado Fiver from the mine and pa=_ses under the =aunty <br />read through a road culvert. We walked the Iine at the ccmclusion of <br />the inspection. Tfrere is presently no pump nr inta4;e facilities at <br />the river. Mr. McF:enr~is indi._ated that to the best of his F:nowledge <br />based ~~n review of pa=_t ar-~d pending permitting in'formati~%n that the <br />water inta4::e facilities had nc'~t been addressed by the permittee.
