Long <br />Division Director <br />The Division plans to approve Technical Revision 24 with conditions described in the <br />paragraphs below. <br />The Division approves the elimination of the following groundwater monitoring wells and <br />surface monitoring stations from your program: <br />1. GW-N1P1 <br />2. GW-N4R <br />3. GW-N19 <br />4. GW-N20 <br />5. G W-N21 <br />6. SW-N4 <br />7. Spoil Spring #2 <br />Additionally; the Division approves the reduction in the sampling frequency that was <br />requested. <br />The Division does not concur with the sampling parameters as proposed by the operator. <br />Currently, there is no difference in sampling parameters between surface and groundwater, <br />which the Division feels is inappropriate. Also, given the minimum amount of samples <br />collected, it is important that the Division get afull-suite sample which can be compared <br />to baseline information. <br />Therefore, the Division will approve of the following sampling parameter lists. These lists <br />apply to both Mine 1 and 2. Please note the difference between dissolved (dis) analysis vs. <br />total recoverable (tot rec): <br />
