Simpatico loam. <br />Permeability of this Falfa soil is slow. Effective rooting <br />depth is 60 inches or more. Available water capacity is high. <br />Runoff is medium, and the hazard of erosion is moderate. <br />A typical pedon for the Falfa Series, a soil typically <br />found in the Ustollic Haplargids. These deep, well drained <br />soils formed in calcareous loess. They are on mesa tops. Slope <br />is one to eight percent percent.
