TRgPPCR DINING INC.
October 9, 1991
CERTIFIED #P782939303
Mr. Kent Gorham
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
215 Centennial Bldg.
1313 Sherman St
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Kent:
Subject Minor Revision 114. Anfo Silo Construction in Enfield Pit
As previously discussed, Ttapper Mine is proposing to relocate the etdsting anfo s0o located along the
Derringer Pit haulroad ramp #2 to a location at the north end of Enfield Pit The relocation is necessary
since the eASting stlo is lopted within the proposed topsoil stripping limits of Derringer pit for 1992 The
anfo st7o will either be moved is the late fall of 1991 or early spring of 1992 and will encompass
approldmatety one acre.
There is no topsot7 disturbance associated with the new construction as the proposed site is located within a
previousy topsoil stripped area (spoil). The drainage from the proposed silo location u into Johnson Gulch
which has adequate sediment control structures constructed downstream of this site.
Section 3.8.1 "Support Facilities" page 3-183 of Trapper's petmit is revised to reflect the relocation of this
field ammonium nitrate silo. In the event a fuel storage tank is cons[ructed within the silo pad, adequate
contaminant berms will be installed to capture any potential release. The enclosed "Facilities" map (hf13-A
sheet 2 of 4) shows the etdsting and proposed aafo silo locations.
Kent, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
SinceretyOO~~
~if.C~L~d?/~
William Agnew
Sr. Environmental Engineer
W b
f \o~]
Endcsute
c ].M 1Nattern
ED.
