Lung <br />CCalg, CO 81625 Dwisinn DueUUr <br />Re: Eckman Pazk, Mine 1 and Mine 2, C-81-071, Phase 111 Bond Release Inspection Mine 2. <br />Deaz Mr. Strahan: <br />This letter serves to notify you that a Bond Release inspection has been scheduled with Cyprus <br />Yampa Valley Coal Corp. for October 14, 1997, at Mine No. 2 in accordance with Rule <br />3.03.2(2). Phase III Bond Release has been requested for 477.4 acres at the Mine 2 area of <br />Permit C-81-071. The application was submitted on September 5, 1997. Due to omissions in <br />the public notice the Division found the application incomplete on September 12, 1997. Upon <br />corrections to the public notice and Colorado Yampa Coal Company's commitment to <br />republish the corrected notice, the Division determined the corrections to the public notice to <br />be adequacy concerns and deemed the application complete on September 17, 1997. The <br />inspection has been scheduled to be conducted on October 14, 1997, at 11:30 a.m. <br />The Surface ownership of the affected lands is private. The mineral rights of the coal mined <br />were both private and federal, Federal leases C-081330, C-20900, and C-0128433.
