' NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed <br />decision to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation. <br />plan for the Blue Ribbon Coal Mine, Permit No. C-047-81, owned by <br />Blue Ribbon Coal Company, under the provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />' Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The proposed technical revision <br />was submitted by Blue Ribbon Coal Company, P.O. box 58, Delta, Colorado <br />81416 on (dated), for the Blue Ribbon Coal Mine. The affected area <br />' is locatd seven miles northeast of Paonia, Colorado, north of Highway <br />133 and is encompassed within the following land: T13S, R91W, Section <br />2. The legal description is as follows: <br />' Beginning at a point on the present permit boundary from <br />where the NW Corner of Section 2, T13S, R91W bears N 53° 56'W, <br />a distance 1327.5 feet, thence following the permit boundary <br />S 73° 25' E, a distance 258.5 feet, thence following the <br />permit boundary S 2° OS' W, a distance 454.1 feet to the SE <br />Corner of Lot 4, thence following the south line of Lot 4 N <br />' 88° 49' W, a distance 250 feet, thence N 2° O5' E, a distance <br />of 522.6 feet more or less to the point of beginning containing <br />2.80 acres more or less. <br />' The subject technical revision is a proposal for a borrow area. The <br />location of the permit area is contained in the U.S. Geological 7.5 <br />minute Bowie Colorado Quadrangle map. The surface owner of the affected <br />' aras is U.S. Steel Corp. Copies of the technical revision are available <br />for review at the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest <br />' which is or may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing <br />regarding this proposed decision.
