• 5.2.1.1(b) Open Pit Truck Shop Ftiel and Oil Storage (Inside) (continued) <br />Visual Inspections and Integrity Testing: 'The oil and lubricant storage azeas are checked daily <br />during mine and mill operations. During shutdown periods these azeas aze checked weekly. <br />Reporting: All oil spills should be documented on the "Spill Incident Report" form immediately <br />(Appendix 1), and given to the Environmental Department. <br />Conformance with Applicable Requirements: The overall housekeeping effort was observed <br />to be good during site inspections of April 10 and June 20, 2003. All drums and storage <br />containers appear to be in good condition. Spill containment is more than adequate to hold the <br />volume ofthe lazgest container. Most drums aze stored cazefully on spill pallets. Applicable state <br />guidelines are assumed to be the same as the Federal Regulations at 40 CFR Part 112, and <br />therefore, under §112.7(j) the Open Pit Shop is currently in conformance with applicable <br />requirements with respect to secondary containment. <br />I • <br />27 <br />
