As of April 1, 1991, the name of the mine, the managing company, <br />and the list of directors has changed. These changes should be <br />reflected in the permit renewal application. <br />II. Classification of Permitted Acreage <br />1. The permit renewal application lists acreages of disturbed areas, <br />of affected areas, and of permitted areas that do not coincide with <br />the permit document values listed on page 1-1 and page 1-155, Table <br />1.13.A. Please reconcile these differences. <br />III. Emissions Permits <br />1. The emissions permits, Nos.C-13-034 (1) through (7) in Volume 4 of <br />the permit, do not show final approval. However, final approval <br />was requested in the March 7, 1984 letter to the Air Pollution <br />Control Division included in Yolume 4. Please provide emissions <br />permits that have final approval. <br />IY. Future Increases in Coal Production <br />1. If the operator of the Mt. Gunnison Mine intends to increase coal <br />production, as was advertised in Coal Week February 25, 1991, then <br />appropriate updates in the permit ocumen will be necessary before <br />production increases. <br />V. Topsoil <br />1. Please update Exhibit 4.2.1 .A - Topsoil Removal Plan and Exhibit <br />4.2.1.6 Topsoil Replacement Plan to reflect current mine facility <br />configurations and topsoil removal and replacement plans for the <br />facilities area. <br />2. Please submit one map that has soil stockpile locations delineated, <br />their estimated volumes and where they will be used (Rules <br />2.05.3(5) and 2.05.4(2)(d)). <br />3. Please submit a sampling plan to determine compliance with topsoil <br />depth replacement requirements on the facilities areas and the <br />waste pile(s) (Rule 2.05.4 (2)(e)(vii)). <br />VI. Surface Hydrology <br />1. The operator should provide design details for all culverts at the <br />site. In particular, designs for the culverts located along the <br />Sylvester Gulch drainage must be submitted.
