Permit number is M-76-020. Changes have
been made to the jetty design in the river at the request of the Durango office of the
US Army Corps of Engineers. Basically, the jetty has been reduced in size and length
and an apron of pit run gravel has been proposed for the area immediately
downstream of the jetty. Other changes were proposed by the Corps but could not be
implemented since the design would not be capable of handling the 100 year event.
The design we have shown is adequate to handle the 100 year event and has been
modified to be less impacting to the river and as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
Sincerely, _ /,
y~~e es~~e/
Greg L wicki, P.
