Pond E was monitored on a daily basis <br />during the period from April 1st through 5th, 1993, by one or more of the following Kerr staff: <br />• T. Charles Fliniau <br />• James C. Mossman <br />• George V. Patterson <br />In a good faith effort, Kerr hired a local contractor, Glenn E. Sessions & Sons, Inc., Box 1076, Walden, <br />Colorado 80480, to thaw the ice in the discharge end of the Pond E conduit with their portable steamer <br />on April 5, 1993. The operators name was Warren Quick. He arrived at Pond E at 8:OOam and Pond <br />E was discharging through the discharge orifice at what appeared to be full design flow capacity at <br />8:30am, April 5, 1993. Pleaze see the attached Daily Time Report, dated April 5, 1993, by Warren <br />Quick. Remedial measures and resulting discharge were witnessed by the above named Kerr staff <br />personnel. <br />I trust that this satisfies the immediate abatement requirements as stated in NOV-93-029.
