Lochhead <br />Ezecolive Director <br />Michael B. long <br />Division Director <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on <br />October 4, 1494, a technical revision application fora permit to conduct coal <br />mining operations by Western fuels-Colorado, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, CO 80228, <br />was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate <br />from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the New <br />Horizon Mine. The technical revision pertains to a revised permit and <br />disturbance boundary map at the New Horizon 1 area of the mine. <br />The revision affects an area within Section 25, Township 47 North, Range 16 <br />West; Section 36, Township 47 North, Range 16 West; and Section 31, <br />Township 47 North, Range 15 West.
