On February 20, 2002 [he Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application
submitted to the Division on December 20, 2001, addressing the following:
1. Detailed description of the Ground Water Monitoring Program.
2. Reconfiguration of mining cell 4 to avoid the Big Thompson River floodway.
3. Engineering evaluation demonstrating slope stability for the Duke Energy and Sinclair pipelines.
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 1 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-
2001-022. There is no change in the amount of financial warranty required as a result of this technical revision
approval.
