As a result, we agreed to the mining phases being
six to eight acres each, and the operation pad being 5 acres,
Pursuant to that, you asked if I would submit a phase map to Carl
Mount. I sent the map on May 1, 1995, and I followed up by
contacting you personally to ask why I did not have a response yet,
That contact was made during the first week of August. Your response
was that you would look into it and get back with me. I never heard
back from you.
On the morning of August 30, 1995, you called the Silverthorne Office
and indicated you would be at the Tower Pit between fpm and 2pm for a
"quickie inspection". I received that message and re-arranged my
schedule to meet you. You arrived early, and told our office that
you could not stay, but you would arrange to be back in the next day
or two. You did not do so.
In fact, you made no other contact with me, however, I was at the
Division office on another matter some 2 weeks later, and I
accidentally ran in to you, at which time you simply stated that we
need to get together for a "flew minutes". I was unavailable at that
moment, but agreed to get with you soon.
