CO 80202-5733 <br />Re: Yoast lVline (Permit No. C-94-082) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 11 (TR-]1) <br />Preliminary Development Activities of the Yoast South Area <br />Dear Mr. Kline: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice. in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116. <br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on May 27, 1999, an application to revise coal mining operations at <br />the Yoast Mire was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal <br />Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of f ling. <br />The proposed technical revision involves modification of the mining and reclamation plans contained in the approved <br />permit document [o reflect preliminary development activities for the Yoast South Mine area. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br />T6N. R87W, Portions of Sections 28.29 and 32 <br />TSN, R87W. Portions of Sections 5, 8. 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Mount Hams & Dunckley. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Routt County Courthouse.
